SmartScope™ is the largest technological leap in the riflescope industry in over 50 years.
It is the world’s first integrated digital camera riflescope. SmartScope™ was introduced
to the industry at the 2003 annual Shot Show, the largest outdoor industry trade show in
the world. It was then introduced to the market during the fall of 2004 at a retail price of
$1,695. The initial market introduction was targeted towards the high-end, non-price
sensitive segment of the market.
Generation II SmartScope™ will be introduced in 2006
and will have a recommended retail price of $995. This will allow the product to stay in
the high-end market while increasing volume. In 2007, the retail price of Generation II
will be dropped to $599 and Generation III will be introduced at $995. By the end of
2007, SmartScope™ will have products and pricing that will appeal to most segments of
the sportsman scope market.

market through a combination of brand and price positioning.
