In 2006, Legend Technologies Inc. will introduce a revolutionary imaging device that will document the use of deadly force. American citizens have all too often witnessed law enforcement officers being accused of wrongful shootings.

These officers are faced with life and death circumstances and many times have less than a second to react. In order to protect law enforcement officers, as well as citizens, Legend Technologies is using its patented technologies to develop PistolCam™. PistolCam™ is a small, imaging device that is attached to a pistol (or rifle) and, like SmartScope™ takes a digital image of the target upon discharge of the handgun.

The first prototype will be completed during the first quarter of 2006. There are over 840,000 uniformed law enforcement officers in approximately 18,760 separate law enforcement agencies in the United States.
